The exchange program is organized by the Australasian Society for Dermatological Research (ASDR) and the JSID. Awardees are given AU$500 for travel expenses.

2. The ASDR will award successful applicants AU$500 to assist with registration fees, travel or accommodation.

1. Be sure to submit an abstract for the 2012 ASDR meeting in Sydney, Australia
   (abstract deadline: 3 February 2012)
2. Apply by e-mail to the JSID (office@jsid.org)
   (application deadline: 10 February, 2012)
3. Applications should include:
   a. A brief CV of the applicant (one page)
   b. A copy of the abstract submitted for the ASDR meeting
   c. A letter of recommendation from the chair of the applicant's department

The four-person judging panel will comprise a president, a secretary-general, the head of the Committee on Scientific Activities, and the head of the Committee on Nominations.

The JSID will aim to announce the names of the successful applicants around the beginning of March 2012.
